Madison Ax will open on the east side of town


MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – An ax throwing facility catapults to the east side of Madison.

Madison Ax is expected to open by the end of November or the first week of December at 2427 South Stoughton Road, the hosts announced Monday.

Managing Partner Brandon Long said in the announcement that he is very excited to bring the 5,500 square foot facility to the Madison area and looks forward to working with other local businesses and organizations. .

Eight ax throwing lanes with digital target projections, interactive games and digital scoring will be available to guests.

In addition to thrown axes, visitors can also enjoy two unofficial shuffleboard lanes with cues and cookies. Organizers say the lanes are versatile and can accommodate various games like cornhole and ring toss. There will also be a beer-only bar.

Hosts explained that the company can create a fun experience for small parties, like date nights, and large groups, like company outings or birthday parties.

The company’s Madison location will complement facilities in Appleton and Green Bay.

There are two ax throwing businesses on the west side of Madison, one on the 6700 block of Watts Road and the other on the 6600 block of Mineral Point Road.
